The Peterson Automotive Museum is located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California and is one of the worlds largest automotive museums. The museum was founded in 1994 by the founder of Hot Rod and Motor Trend magazines, Robert E. Petersen.

The museum itself can show off over 100 vehicles, but owns over 200 vehicles in all. One floor has vehicles that are switched out from time to time while another floor houses permanent vehicles on showcase such as a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle  (used in the Love Bug movie), a 1940 Pep Boys store marquee, and the Batmobile from the 1967 batman television series.
