The Aquarium of the Pacific is located on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California and entertains over 1.5 million visitors annually. The aquarium sits right across the water from the Long Beach Convention Center and Shoreline Village.
The aquarium features over 11,000 animals from over 500 different species from three areas of the Pacific Ocean: Northern Pacific, Tropical Pacific, and Southern Pacific. Two of the more popular exhibits are interactive where guests can pet sharks and stingrays in the Shark Lagoon and feed nectar to the birds in the Lorikeet Forest.
