RMS Queen Mary Long Beach
The Queen Mary is the most famous landmark in Long Beach. The original cruise liner RMS Queen Mary, built in 1937 made her 516th and final voyage to Long Beach, California on December 9, 1967. The ship is now a hotel and attraction with a variety of restaurants, nightlife, tours and special events on board.
The RMS Queen Mary Long Beach includes the outdoor Queen Mary Events Park and the Queen Mary Dome, which once housed Howard Hughes’ albatros of an airplane, the Spruce Goose. The Ghosts and Legends of the Queen Mary tour dramatizes paranormal and historic events aboard the ship. Evening tours include haunted explorations and midnight ghost tours led by paranormal experts.
Hours: Daytime attraction hours are Monday through Thursday 10 am to 6:00 pm and Friday through Sunday 10 am to 7 pm
Parking: First 30 minutes free, 31 minutes to an hour $3, over an hour $15 per 12 hours, $17 per 24 hours for hotel guests, lost ticket $80.
