The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a Japanese garden located in the campus of California State University, in Long Beach and was devoted in April of 1981, designed by a Long Beach architect. Surrounded by tall trees, this stylish 1.3 acre garden features a lush green landscape, the perfect foil for the elegantly arched bridge, sparkling koi pond, and shining waterfalls. You can also enjoy leisurely walking on the garden paths with feeding the koi fish and viewing the garden’s wide bonsai collection.

Open: Tuesday-Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm & Sunday 12:00pm – 4:00pm

The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden hosts public education events such as Festivals, Pruning of the Black Pines, Cultural Arts Programs and much more all year round.
